Apple caramel cheesecake

Ingredients
For the crust:
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs 🍪
1/4 cup granulated sugar 🍬
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted 🧈
For the cheesecake filling:
24 oz cream cheese, softened 🧀
1 cup granulated sugar 🍬
3 large eggs 🥚
1 teaspoon vanilla extract 🌿
1 cup sour cream 🥛
For the apple layer:
1 cup apple pie filling 🍏
1/2 cup caramel sauce (plus extra for topping) 🍮
For garnish:
1 chopped apple 🍏
Crumbled graham crackers 🍪
Extra drizzle of caramel sauce 🍮
Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat and prepare the pan
Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
Grease a 9-inch springform pan to ensure easy removal.
2️⃣ Make the crust
In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter until well combined.
Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form an even crust.
3️⃣ Prepare the cheesecake filling
In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with 1 cup sugar until smooth and creamy.
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Stir in the vanilla extract and sour cream until combined.
4️⃣ Layer the cheesecake and apple filling
Pour half of the cheesecake batter over the crust in the pan. Top this layer with the apple pie filling and drizzle with 1/2 cup of caramel sauce.
Pour the remaining cheesecake batter over the apple layer to cover it.
5️⃣ Bake the cheesecake
Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set and the edges are lightly browned.
Once done, turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside with the door slightly ajar for about 1 hour to cool gradually.
6️⃣ Chill the cheesecake
Remove from the oven and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
7️⃣ Garnish and serve
Before serving, top with chopped apples, crumbled graham crackers, and an extra drizzle of caramel sauce.
